The below link is of the boy who saw the huge tree trunk getting up on its own and he ran away for safety. But it is MIRACLE
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn286/pitath/1215968533.jpg
The below link is of the father and son who sold the dry tree for five thousand and the great trunk was to be lifted within a day or two but the MIRACLE happened. Earlier the small branches which were used for baking brick by the 'nonias' were of no use as not a single brick got ready. It was futile attempt. Now the poor fellows come with flowers and prasads to offer and are happy as they feel their fate will change for the better. The old man in picture is around eighty plus and his great grand father planted the tree. He was told by his grand father by that time the tree was big enough to cater to the needs of the passersby.

Sexual and reproductive health among youth in Bihar and Jharkhand

Sexual and reproductive health among youth in Bihar and Jharkhand:
An overview of the sexual and reproductive health of young people in India Authors: S. J. Jejeebhoy Publisher: Economic and Political Weekly, India, 2007
Full text of document
This article published in Economic and Political Weekly is the first of a series of papers that explores the sexual and reproductive health situation among young people in Bihar and Jharkhand, India. It highlights positive changes in the sexual and reproductive health situation in India including declining infant mortality, increased access to skilled attendance at birth, and declining unmet need for contraception. However, the country is also experiencing stagnating levels of maternal mortality, an increase in the spread of sexually transmitted infections, most notably HIV, and the misuse of prenatal diagnostic techniques for sex selection. The paper shows that Bihar and Jharkhand lag behind other states in most indicators of sexual and reproductive health. Compared to other states in India, women marry early, are less likely to use contraception and less likely to have access to pregnancy related care. Key conclusions of the series include:
young people engage in unsafe sex and are vulnerable to risky sexual and reproductive health outcomes
lack of awareness, social support and access to appropriate services are key factors that inhibit safe practices and prompt treatment seeking
many socio-cultural and systematic obstacles deny women access to quality care, and judgemental and insensitive provider attitudes in public health facilities deters women from seeking care in these facilities

HOT_'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach'

Love food

Fri, Jul 4 01:35 AM
The much used adage 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach,' has been given a full turn in the Recipes for the Kamasutra. The philosophy that guides these recipes aims to bring sex straight into the kitchen, and expects to entice both men and women through aphrodisiacal ingredients and sensual food art.

The author, Komal Taneja, has conducted a foraging tour, searching out a variety of ingredients that tantalise the libido through external and internal stimulation. From innocuous fruits like the phallic banana, or the fleshy peach, to the various chilies and spices, the making of these recipes is aimed to evoke the cry of desire right from the onset.

The preludes to the recipes include text passages that arouse the senses even before the reader gets to the ingredients. And if that's not good enough, pictures from the real Kamasutra are thrown in to ensure that no leaf is left unturned in making the time spent in the kitchen as sensual as the journey post prandial.
The 60-odd recipes themselves look curiously different, yet captivating, and easy to prepare.

Divided by courses, they can be made for any hour of the day.
Between the pictures of the Kamasutra and the exotic food photography by Shailan Parker, the book is designed to make the gastronomical juices as well as the blood flowing. You may want to display it on your coffee table, but the kitchen (or the bedroom) may actually be the best permanent place for it.

MIRACLE BARGAD (Banyan) TREE in Pitath

The big Banyan tree which fell down in a strong strom some two years back. It was just a chance that I got it clicked and saved in my Mobile camera phone. I tried to convince many electronic media people about the MIRACLE but no one believed. One of them even said aesha ho hi nahi sakta. One TV jurno said Delhi ne mana karwa diya hai. Well the below pictures tell the real story. The mediamen who are visiting the spot saying aesha bhi hota hai kaliyug mein. The branches were taken away by innocent people of the village and only the heavy root and trunk was left. As it was too heavy to be lifted and one thing more with no bridge on the CHHERA river there is no way for taking the help of tractor or any other heavy motorised machine to lift the tree trunk. Its a MIRACLE.
Its a miracle. The above picture shows the tree in straight position. No physical power was used to lift it like that. Well the faith of the people is so strong that puja and hawan is going on from the day on ie 20 JUNE 2008, Friday.

The huge trunk from a close range shot. The picture tells the story.
Devotees offering puja. Now the news have spread to far of places first, thanks to the cellular companies for providing tele network in the remotest village Pitath. The scene is like lut sake to lut prabhu ki maya bat rahi hai. All relatives were informed and those living outstation and abroad are rushing in just to have the ashirvad. Most of the local people suffering from several diseases and ailments are cured by the grace of PRABHUJI and the number of devotees is increasing everyday.

NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY NAMAH SHIVAY
DEAR ALL
Miracles do happen in this yuga also.

GREETINGS from Pitath, Bhojpur. May the greatest /blessings of MAHADEVJI be with you always I am writing this mail from PITATH a village some twenty kms west of Hari Gaon in Bhojpur district of Bihar , India. Pitath is 122 kms in west of Patna and about 55 kms from ARA the district HQs of Bhojp\ur. Bhojpur is in BIHAR, Bihar is ruled by Mr Nitish Kumar (Chief Minister). Earlier it was Mr Lalu Yadav and Mrs Rabri Devi managing the state of affairs in Bihar.
Interestingly the village is locted very near to Hari Gaon. Hari Gaon i srelated to Mauritius. The Honourable Prime Minister recently visited Hari Gaon. And just a little ahead of it the miracle has taken place. I am sending the report published in the local Hindi daily. The miracle__ there was an old banyan tree which fell down in a storm. The local people cut all its branches and took all the woods for cooking food. It so happened on Friday morning (JUNE 20, 2008) the tree all of a sudden got up on its own.
A boy who was sitting nearby saw it and ran away fearing something unusual was happening. He informed the villagers and it was a miracle. The people started doing puja and offering prashad. The local newspapers carried the report in the next day edition.
By that time the crowd started growing. I am also in possession of photo of the tree which was lying flat on the ground till Thursday(June 19, 2008).
I took the photo to highlight degrading environment.
The faith of people in miracle even in this kaliyuga is strengthened.
The people who don't believe in miracle should come and see the miracle on their own.
My purpose of sending mail to your excellency is to see for yourself the miracle of SHIVJI. Mahadevji's kind blessing is there and it will be very nice of your excellency to visit the place and get Prabhuji's blessings.
Thanking you with profound regards.
